Here’s why it is worth paying the premium price for the Duke 125!

Summary – A few reasons why the KTM Duke 125 is worth buying today!

The Austrian motorcycle brand KTM recently revised the prices of its Duke 125 motorcycle.

The bike is in two unofficial trims across dealerships in India. One can get the 2022 iteration of the bike for Rs. 2, 02,729. On the other hand, the 2023 iteration of the bike is offered at Rs. 2, 04,023. Please note that both prices are ex-showroom.

So, does it make sense to pay more than INR 2 lakh for a 125 CC bike?

It does!

Here’s the enunciation. (2023)

The 124 CC, BS6-compliant, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine is tuned to deliver 14.3 bhp and 12Nm of power and torque respectively. This attribute alone makes the bike the most powerful in its segment. The bike can achieve its electronically limited 112 KMPH top speed mark in no time thanks to its track-tuned and race-ready transmission.

The next reason that makes sense to pay a premium price for the bike is its looks. The overall design and dimensions of the KTM 125 Duke are similar to the Duke 200. The bike comes with a re-engineered Trellis subframe that allows the motorcycle to offer best-in-class handling on streets and highways. The handling and overall road behaviour of the bike are further enhanced thanks to its WP Apex series suspensions.

The Austrian motorcycle manufacturers equipped the new Duke bike with ample inner thigh support. This objective was achieved by subjecting the fuel tank to subtle redesigning sessions. The seat of the bike is extra padded and properly contoured. It means that the bike can also be taken on short as well as long bike trips.

To sum it all up, the bike offers a lot. Hence, the price is justified, to be honest!
